WHAT DOES GW STAND FOR?Gorgeous Woman. Here in GW land, our passion has always been natural healthy skin!
WHAT INSPIRED GW FACIAL?Anna McBride has been a practicing Reflexologist and Massage therapist for more than 25 years. Her interest in facial reflexology and facial massage inspired her to learn ancient techniques which could be incorporated with modern knowledge.
The end result was an amazingly popular treatment called GW Japanese Facial Rejuvenation. Treatments produced instant results and repeat appointments ensured the ongoing success of GW Facial Therapy.
GW Facial Therapy is now an internationally recognised and approved modality that seamlessly integrates ancient Japanese facial acupressure, Ayurvedic face-lifting massage, and anti-ageing facial reflexology. The GW Facial is a 100% natural facial and delivers fabulous results.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THIS THERAPY?It’s an effective and all-natural alternative to Botox and fillers and is gathering momentum as an anti-aging therapy of choice in the US and Europe.
It has many benefits, including detoxifying, releasing stress and tension, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It’s often referred to as a natural facelift and is a safe alternative to Botox and other injectables. The treatment taught in the Master Class is called the Gorgeous Woman Japanese Facial Rejuvenation®.
As a treatment, the therapy improves complexion, lessen fine lines and wrinkles, tighten facial contours, and reduce stress and tension in facial muscles. Further, it improves circulation and lymphatic drainage, allowing the body to eliminate toxins.
The use of GW all-natural facial oils and creams assists in the rejuvenation process.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED TO DO THE COURSE?No experience is necessary.
Previous experience in beauty therapy, reflexology or massage is an advantage but not required. Yoga teachers, Nurses and administration workers have successfully completed the course and are now certified GW Facial Therapists.
CAN I SECURE INSURANCE AFTER COMPLETING THE COURSE?
GW Facial Therapy training courses are recognised by IICT the International Institute of Complementary Therapy. On completion of the course when you receive your GW Facial Therapy Certificate, if required you will then be able to purchase Professional Indemnity insurance through IICT.
CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL TRAINING/DEVELOPMENTGW Facial Therapy training courses attract ‘continued professional training/development’ points, within your relevant association. For example, within the Reflexology Assoc of Australia, GW Facial Therapy training courses come under Activity 17 in the RAoA CPT Program. For others, it is usually 1 point per hour of training.
HOW MUCH CAN YOU CHARGE FOR THE FACIAL?
Approximately $85 to $100+for those working from home and it would be more in a retail Beauty Clinic. The value in this therapy is also the repeat clients that it generates.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER VALUE ADDED PRODUCTS?
For over 20 years we’ve been handcrafting small batches of 100% natural premium and pure facial skincare products to work in synergy with our GW anti-aging treatments.
What began as a request from our facial clients to purchase our fabulous facial oils turned into our Gorgeous Woman Skin Care range. This is where the GW came from. We only use proven premium ingredients.
Purchase of our proven skincare products is not compulsory and is provided as an option for therapists. GW Facial Therapy products used in the treatment including the Gorgeous Woman and ManOil8 skincare ranges, can be purchased wholesale by the therapist for resale to their clients for ongoing maintenance in between GW facial treatments. This ‘extra’ income can be profitable for therapists.
